Paleo Update
I am about halfway through with my Paleo 30. It is absolutely getting harder. I have avoided dairy and anything that might contain gluten including cereal and bread and beer. I also been careful to avoid any legumes like beans and peas. I've lost about 5 pound which is pretty good. Not mind blowing but good. I've been feeling pretty good but the last few days I've been a little low on energy and don't have anything in particular to attribute it to. Two interesting wrinkles. I just completed Michael Pollan's book "In Defense of Food" and watched the movie "Food Inc." Both of these have me questioning the moral implications of eating this much meat, realizing that this is probably going to be harder than I originally thought.
